Seeing Red

July 21, 2009

For the poor souls out there who, like myself, cringed/had an apoplectic fit each time Sarah Palin opened her mouth in public, Vanity Fair has just the thing to unwrinkle your brows and assuage your exasperated inner editors:

Palin’s Resignation: The Edited Version

Frickin’ Brilliant!

Exactly the visual image I had of the “Resignation Speech” hard copy:

This is just page one. You should click the link above for the full delicious article, it’s simply dripping with colorful ink!

I imagine editors the world over were itching to do just this to each and every one of La Palin’s undiagrammable sentences. Wayne Lawson most definitely had a cigarette after this dream cathartic exercise.

Although, after seeing this transcript in all its glory, I think it might be more efficient to draw the exacting editorial red line across Palin herself. Saves the lovely ink, you understand.

So glad you posted this–I needed a laugh today.
You are so right–what a waste of ink. Especially in today’s economy. 😉

Yes, donate said ink to failing newspapers instead. Genius 🙂
