About Mnemosyne

MnemosyneAlthough Mnemosyne is best known for being mother of the Muses in greek mythology, I find her most compelling as the goddess of memory. Apart from her famous offspring, she is a collector of words and inventor of language. Talk about a dream avatar for a writing biblio/logophile like me.

After all, who can resist being mired in myth and being the topic of epic poetry, all while gracing a slew of Pre-Raphaelite paintings?

Some other random facts and figures about me:

What a lovely way to meet, Gemma. Thank you for passing on the Kreative Blogger Award. I’m still in shock about it, in rather a big way. I look forward to getting to know you better through your blog. And I’ve always wanted to meet someone who lived in Kalamazoo!

Take a bow, my dear- your blog is fabulous. I’m a frequent reader.
Yes, Kalamazooans are a rare breed. Am newly minted myself, having moved from Chicago. Still learning the ways of the Force.

Hi Gemma. I got the Kreative Blogger award from my dear friend Kathleen of “True Love, Six Kids, One Old House” and found my way to yours. I have never met someone who lives in Kalamazoo so this is a first.

For sure, I will be coming back to catch up on your life. I’m Manila-based so am inviting you over for a visit too.
